Before repairing the masonry, it is necessary to remove the affected plaster to the base (masonry) and to the height of at least 0,8–1,0 m above the salt efflorescence or above the visible moisture level.

Subsequently, coat (paint) the strip with Cemix 1901 or Cemix 1911 in three layers in a total thickness of 3 mm, in location 30 cm above and 15 cm below the ground. Apply the next layer after the previous one has set.

Sanation pre-sprinkler

Apply the sanation pre-sprinkler Cemix 2140 (2740) into the last layer of the waterproofing coating Cemix 1911 or Cemix 1901. Follow the the "fresh to fresh" method, starting from height of 20 mm above the ground in the coating, and then further on the base (masonry) where the future renovation render Cemix 2146 will be applied. Allow the sanation pre-sprinkler to mature for 3 days.

Moisten the substrate with water. Then apply renovation render Cemix 2146. The plaster layer must be at least 20 mm in total. Finish the plaster 20 mm above the ground. This will prevent water from absorbing into the plaster from the ground.

Surface treatment

Smooth the wilted surface of the plaster (1-3 hours) by circular motions with a felt trowel while sprinkling with water. Subsequently, use a foam trowel while sprinkling water to unify the surface. Allow the plaster to mature sufficiently before painting (1 mm of plaster approx. 1 day).

Apply primer Cemix 2612 on the dried and mature plaster.

Surface finishing

When is the primer dried, apply two coats of facade paint Cemix 2801. Dilute the first coat with maximum of 5 % water. When the first coat dries, coat the plaster with undiluted Cemix 2801.
